SPOTTED: Art photography.

Art is one of those tricky pieces to find for the home. To each of us, art takes on a different meaning and resonates a unique feeling within us. We all see art through our own eyes based on our personal life experiences.

Art comes in many forms for the home, so don't limit yourself to only the traditional kind, like paintings, prints and illustrations. You can also fill your walls with posters, maps, vintage signs and photographs, including portrait, landscape, architectural and personal ones from family events and holidays.

I personally love to use photographs on the walls at home as you can frame, enlarge and enhance these images to your desire.  Australian stylist and photographer, Kara Rosenlund (who I've previously spoken about here), has released new limited edition photograph prints of the Australian landscape. Her images are captivating, with beautiful use of colour and detail. She offers a range of sizes (including large ones!) with the option to purchase the photographs framed (to keep things simple for you). Here are a few of my favourites from Kara's latest collection.

Given the consistent Australian landscape themes in Kara's photographs, you can easily display a pair or collection of prints in the one area of your home. Or simply showcase a single large print on its own.

Enjoy your first week of summer!
