Don't know about you, but I had a very busy week and weekend! Phew! On Friday night, I had a lot of fun attending abstract artist Sarah Tin's first art exhibition at The Grace Space in St Kilda (read my interview with Sarah here); Saturday was spent exploring the Finders Keepers Market and searching for the perfect art ensemble for a client's nursery; and Sunday morning I attended a workshop hosted by the insanely talented and beautiful Sibella Court, dissecting the art of making the perfect bed, using beautiful textiles she has collected from around the globe! We also got the opportunity to browse through Sibella's new hardware range that is exclusive to her shop, The Society Inc (and online store too). Do keep a look out for the release on her website shortly!
Once again, I have had another week of fabulous finds that I want to share with you. Here's what caught my eye over the weekend:
Abigail Ahern, an international designer, stylist, author and blogger never ceases to amaze me with her creativity at home. She has recently revamped her bedroom, installing rustic timber panels on the wall and introducing layers upon layers of texture in her space. Check out that fury lampshade on the left-hand side?!
Adding a touch of greenery in your home has taken on another level of fun with these cute planters by Wacamole Ceramics. Designed by Spanish duo Luis Llamas and Lydia of Piñera, each ceramic planter has been designed to brighten the corners of your home and fill your space with humour. So cute!
I dream about living in an all white space one day, and this beautiful Cape Town abode is another great example that sings to my heart. Its eclectic nature, organic pieces and use of timber really warms up this space. It makes the home feel so lived in, despite the all white palette. Do you think so too? Have a great week!
