HOW - TO: Warm up your interior for Spring.

I hope you're all having a great week! In typical Melbourne style, I hear the weather's been all over the place. Warm, cold, rainy! In someways, iconic Spring!  As the weather begins to warm up, I can't resist this feeling trickling into my home. What about you? Recently while reading the Dutch blog, vtwonen, I discovered this beautiful studio flat in the Netherlands.

Filled with so much natural light and crisp white walls, this studio appears so open and large! Rustic timbers, leather upholstery and rugs are used to soften the dark timber floors and the pops of colour in the art and decor inject some fresh energy into the space. It is such a beautiful room. I would love to make myself breakfast and a coffee, spread the newspaper all over the big table and spend the morning there...

You too can bring some warm tones into your home this Spring. Timber is a key ingredient if you're looking for a similar look, together with warm hues like browns, reds, orange and yellow. The sea blue/green decor items like the art and ceramics compliment the warm tones in this room, making it feel so well balanced and majestic. Here's how you can get a similar look for your home.
