Friday Faves #1.

I love to spend time researching and discovering what's new in interiors. It's part of the reason I started this blog in the first place. It gave me an opportunity to learn new things and share my thoughts about it. But there is SO much happening all the time! So last year, I decided to start a blog series called Motivate Me Mondays. But it didn't feel quite right. I didn't feel I was delivering my discoveries to you in the right way or the right time...

So over the summer break, I brainstormed ways to make this series more concise, practical and catchy for you. Here's what I've come up with. For this series, I will share on Fridays (when you're switching off from work and planning the weekend ahead!), an edited list of products, creatives, events and travel spots that I have coveted, visited and explored during the week...

Depending on how my week (or weeks) pan out, this may become a weekly, fortnightly or monthly post. But if you have any thoughts about its progress, let me know below! Welcome to Friday Faves.

VISIT | BUY | EXPLORE

1 / VISIT the new CRITERIA showroom in Cremorne, Victoria. I did so earlier this week and am seriously in love with their entire lighting collection! A stunning warehouse space showcasing a well curated selection of high quality crafted furniture, lighting and accessories from around the world, including the US which got me really excited! A great article posted this week on The Design Files about the store, if you're interested in some more details.

2 / BUY some refreshing new art for your space. And at the moment, I'm really loving photography, especially these minimal landscape images by New Zealander Amber Armitage of This Big Playground which take me back to my road trip across the US last year.

3 / EXPLORE somewhere new this long weekend as we celebrate Australia Day. I'm heading out for a day trip to Bendigo! Maybe a walk through Rosalind Park, a lunch stop at Percy and Percy or an afternoon at Bendigo Art Gallery? Whatever is on my agenda, I hope to share my discoveries, here next week with you!
