There have been a few new wonderful things pop into my email account over the last couple of weeks that I thought it was time to share with you another Friday Faves post. My finds are predominately located in Sydney, so if you're not from here, then perhaps an excuse for a long weekend?
EXPLORE / The Grounds of Alexandria. A refurbished pie factory from the 1900's featuring an industrial aesthetic with rustic timber features, coffee leather upholstery, black and steel glass frames and open, light spaces is a design lover's dream. The icing on the cake no doubt has to be their specialty coffee and coffee research and testing facility alongside the cafe. While I have not yet had a chance to visit, their logo proclaims "made with skill and precision". It's going to be a winner I imagine.
BUY / The new Blue range by the iconic Australian brand Dinosaur Designs, channeling the palette of the ocean. The various tonalities and shades of blue are divine and timeless. A classic piece for the home in a versatile colour. I'll have one of each, thank you. View the entire collection here.
STAY / Die-hard aficionados (like myself!) of the talented stylist Sibella Court and her globally sourced interiors store, The Society Inc in Paddington, Sydney will be ecstatic to know that her store has now been transformed for overnight stays and dinner parties. Sibella recently moved her trinkets & treasures to a new warehouse location (details here via TDF) and converted her Paddington space for hire!
If I ever get the opportunity to stay, I'm sure I would never venture outside! Why would you when you would find yourself spending every minute observing & exploring Sibella's worldly travelled collections? For rental details, visit airbnb here.
By the way, if you have seen or attended anything exciting that you would love to share with me and other readers, then please do so in the comments below or feel free to shoot me an email: email@example.com. Always happy to hear from you.
Have a wonderful weekend.
