New Year to shake, rattle and roll.

Hey there! I'm back! Happy New Year to you! Hope you've had a really great start to 2015... I'm refreshed and ready to shake, rattle and roll... how about you?

Since my last post I've had the opportunity to take some time off and unwind and seriously enjoy doing nothing... and by the way, when did doing 'nothing' become a luxury? After a fabulous, big Christmas I was blessed with the opportunity to escape town and head up to Merimbula with the family. Every year, I am greeted by the sun, sand and sea and love it. Seriously adore it. Merimbula never seems to disappoint, even when I do absolutely nothing while I'm there.

During this time, I allowed myself to stop thinking about my work and realise that it's been a while since I've really switched off... Somehow we become busier with each year and so the chance to take a break becomes more difficult... do you feel the same way? When the new year approached (and I had bathed and tanned enough by the seaside), I opened a fresh notebook and began taking notes about my goals and intentions for the new year - for myself, my business and this blog.

I want this year to be big. I mean really BIG in everything I do. Which I realised is going to require some courage from me. As an introvert, this is going to definitely be a challenge, but I'm kind of excited about it (rather than most of the time feeling afraid!). I'm going to work on making new connections, attend new events, learn new skills and basically try to extend myself in as many ways as I can, both personally and professionally. There's no more time (or space) for feeling comfortable and complacent. Courage is what I need to push myself to the next level.

So what does this mean for the blog you ask? Well stay tuned, sign up to my posts by email (if you haven't already joined the tribe!) and grab yourself the perfect cup of coffee. It's going to be exciting...
