Black and White Palette.

I've always found that when working with a pared-back palette of white & black, it's best to apply each shade in unequal proportions. Using a lot more white with pops of black works best for me. Let me show.

Love the contrast of the matt black kitchen joinery to the almost all-white room.

The bold black lacquered bed is striking in this bedroom, even though it has a simple, understated design.

Seriously, if only this was my office! Black and white photography sets the scene for this palette and connects the black accents in this office, especially that uber cool leather armchair (anyone know where I can buy this piece??!).

A black and white palette allows you to introduce subtle traces of another accent, like brass or timber, to help warm up the space.

Could you restrain yourself to this pared-back palette?

Have a lovely week!
