Making Art affordable.

There are many great Australian artists that I admire and have their pieces of work on my wish list. A few of my favourites include:

+ Kirra Jamison for her colour, fun and playful designs.

+ Michael Muir for his interpretation of Australia's streetscape, architecture and plant life applied in colour blocks of various shapes and forms.

+ Lara Merrett for her abstract fluid work involving vibrant colour and moody palettes.

But, to purchase original art work is an investment. And for many of us, not an immediate option. So you can imagine I was over the moon to hear about the launch of Contemporary Editions who offer limited edition reproductions of artworks by well known artists. They only reproduce 25 prints of each artwork and every one is signed and numbered by the artist to authenticate its work.

Although they are not an original, the reproduction is printed to the highest industry standard with archival pigment inks on HAHNEMÜHLE etching paper. Because of this, they are available to us at a much more affordable price. Now that is awesome.
