Pendants with style.

I'm noticing more and more great pendants on the market today with such varying styles and finishes. Choosing lighting for your home is like accessorising your outfit.  It can really elevate your outfit, and just like your room, it can enhance the space by setting the mood with its illumination and dressing it up with all it's frills and details.  Let me show you three pendants I'm loving at the moment, each offering a completely different impact to your space.

1 / Bezel by Anaesthetic Design. This pendant (especially in a pair like this) would be a gorgeous centrepiece.  I am particularly fond of the "patterned option"  which represents a piano-style design cut into the metal surface that creates movement and shape when illuminated. The contrasting finishes of brass and powder-coated shade really creates this luxe-feel, perfect for a dining space. Designed and made in Australia.

2 / L.I.M chandelier by Klaylife. Now here is something special and divine! With each clay bead hand rolled, kiln fired, then dip dyed before being strung onto a wrought iron frame, this minimal chandelier (well, as much as a chandelier can be!) is designed for those who prefer a clean, modern aesthetic... Loving the 50 shades of grey colour-way in this pendant below. You view the entire range of chandeliers here

3 / Helix pendant by Bec BrittainAghh! This is insane right?? Brooklyn-based designer, Bec Brittain specialising in custom brass hardware and LED tubes wrapping around a central support. The Helix Short pendant is my favourite in brushed brass and white marble Ellipse counterweight (below). So edgy and contemporary. Available through Criteria Collection in Australia.

So where does your flavour in lighting sit?
