How to use fur in the home.

Ahhh, the sheepskin rug. Whether its real or faux, fur gives your home instant coziness. You've probably seen it all over Pinterest and more recently in magazines as we head into the cooler months. So what's so good about fur and sheepskin?

It's the textural element. That's the cosy feeling this rug gives you when you see it in a room.

Texture is integral to every good interior design. The layers of different materials in the one space elevates a room from feeling cold and sterile to cozy and complete. It's especially important in spaces where you aren't distracted by colour or pattern. So we see it being used in many neutral based rooms, or Scandinavian style spaces where everything is in a similar tone (ie white and timber). Sheepskin rugs and furs are added for warmth, comfort and visual interest to keep the space feeling so so inviting. Here's how you can add a little extra comfort to your home:

I definitely love this look and crave one for my leather armchair, especially with winter approaching.
