What do you get when you mix an Australian company inspired by an Australian landscape? An amazing new cushion collection by Billy Heckenberg.

The new collection by textile company Billy Heckenberg was inspired by Australia's own historic Cockatoo Island located just in Sydney harbour. Designer Madeleine Duggan, has drawn on the subdued dusty pale palette of the Island as inspiration for her new collection of cushions and bags.

We are enthralled by her combination of print, zip and texture on linen to create a seductive line of cushions.  Wihtout having ever visited Cockatoo Island, you can only imagine the worn out, weathered, cracked appearance that forms the landscape of the Island which has simulated her designs.

A step away from her usual black, white and grey tones, the subdued colour palette allows you to comfortably mix a few pieces of the collection together or introduce it to your living room as a feature.  We reckon the zipper is the icing on the cake as it naturally sits comfortably in the print's design.

The cushions come in three different sizes and they are made here in Australia.  Oh and don't forget, if you are looking for something new for yourself, don't go past the Carry All Bag as shown above. Divine.

You can check out Madeleine's collection here.  You won't be disappointed.
